Dentist
I graduated from the University of Liverpool in the UK in 2021 and worked as a general dentist in Manchester for 3.5 years. I moved to Australia in January 2025 and am definitely not regretting swapping the rainy streets of England for the sunny beaches of Sydney!
I love the day-to-day variety and patient interaction that comes with general practice, and I find it especially rewarding to build trusting relationships with patients, particularly those who may feel a little anxious.
I focus on prevention and minimal intervention wherever possible, and when treatment is needed, I aim to make the experience as gentle and comfortable as possible, with natural-looking results.
Outside of work, I enjoy Pilates, discovering new restaurants, and have recently joined a run club.
I’m also enjoying exploring more of Australia and travelling to places that are so much more accessible from here than from the UK.
Dental Surgeon – Associate Dentist
I completed my Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Melbourne in 2015 after finishing a Bachelor of Neuroscience at the University of Otago, growing up on a small rose farm in New Zealand. I enjoy all aspects of dentistry, with a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, and aim to help anxious patients feel relaxed in the dental chair. I believe the best part of my job is the privilege of giving people a confident smile

Cosmetic and general dentistry differ mainly in their goals. General dentistry focuses on keeping the mouth healthy by preventing and treating issues like decay, gum disease, and dental emergency concerns. It’s centred around long-term protection, functional care, and maintaining good oral health. Cosmetic dentistry, on the other hand, is about improving how your teeth look. While it also supports dental health, its primary focus lies in enhancing smiles through treatments that correct or mask imperfections.
When visiting a general dentist, you’re likely to receive services like check-ups, fillings, extractions, or root canal therapy, procedures designed to restore function and stop problems from worsening. Cosmetic dental treatments are often elective and may include whitening, veneers, bonding, or reshaping teeth. These options are chosen to reshape the smile or replace missing teeth using aesthetic methods that blend seamlessly with the natural appearance of your teeth.
While the approaches are different, cosmetic and general treatments often overlap. For example, a crown placed after a root canal not only restores function but can also improve appearance. Addressing issues like chipped teeth or gaps may serve both practical and cosmetic purposes. Patients may start with general care to improve oral health and then explore cosmetic options once stability is achieved.
Both types of care play an important role in maintaining a confident, functional, and attractive smile, just with a different primary focus.
At our dental practice, communication is easy. Our friendly team speaks English, Spanish, and Korean to help you feel comfortable at every visit.
